About this project
A flat bookmark cut as a Voronoi lattice inside a rounded frame. At the default 30 x 50 x 0.5 mm it is thin enough to flex with the page and open enough to see the print through.
Size
Width, length, thickness and corner rounding. The Info panel converts the thickness into layers so you can see whether you are asking for a print that is two layers thick.
Lattice
Frame and strut width does double duty: it is the width of the solid border and, at half that, the width of the lattice struts inside it. Below about 2 mm the struts drop under three perimeters at a 0.4 mm nozzle and snap when the bookmark is flexed.
The sixteen cell centres are stored in absolute millimetres, laid out for a 30 x 50 mm panel. Stretch the bookmark much past that and the lattice leaves large empty areas at the edges rather than subdividing; the design check warns past 2x.
Printing
Flat on the bed, no supports. Three or four layers of PETG flexes without cracking; PLA at two layers will snap along a layer line the first time it is bent. A textured or smooth PEI sheet gives a better-looking back face than glass. No brim needed — the frame is its own brim.
