About this project

A parametric twin-engine aircraft built from implicit (SDF) geometry. Every part is driven by named variables, and the joints are smoothly blended so the whole airframe meshes as one watertight solid, ready to export or 3D print.

How it's built

  • Fuselage – a revolved B-spline profile, scaled by its length and diameter.
  • Main wing – a NACA 4-digit airfoil, extruded with taper and mirrored about the centerline.
  • Engines – one revolved nacelle repeated as a pair along the span; they ride up with the wing dihedral.
  • Tail – an elliptical vertical fin and a mirrored airfoil stabilizer that stay attached to the tail as the fuselage changes length.

Configurator controls

  • Wing – span, root chord, taper, thickness (% of chord), dihedral and fore-aft position.
  • Engines – show/hide (glider), spacing and size.
  • Fuselage – length and diameter.
  • Tail – stabilizer span and chord, fin height and chord.
  • Joint blends – separate fillet sizes for the wing root, fin root, stabilizer root and engine mounts (0 = sharp).
